Privacy policy
Last updated: 6 July 2026
Collab Works Ltd (company number 17130336) runs this website. This page explains what we collect from visitors, why, and what you can do about it.
We keep this simple because we don't do much: the only data we collect is what you send us through our contact form, plus the standard analytics and cookies that come built into Squarespace, the platform this site runs on.
What we collect
When you fill in our contact form, we get whatever you type in: your name, email address, and your message. That's it. We don't ask for anything else.
When you browse the site, Squarespace automatically collects some technical information in the background, whether or not you fill in a form. This includes things like your IP address, browser and device type, and which pages you visited. Squarespace uses this for its own built-in analytics and to run the site. We don't add any separate analytics tools of our own.
Why we collect it
We use your contact form details for one reason: to reply to you. If you ask about our services, we'll use your email address to get back to you and, if it goes further, to follow up about the work.
Squarespace's analytics help us understand how many people visit the site and which pages get used. We look at this in aggregate. We're not tracking you personally.
Cookies
Squarespace sets cookies on this site as part of how it operates and measures traffic. We haven't added any of our own. For the exact cookies Squarespace uses and how long they last, see Squarespace's cookie policy. They control this, not us.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so shouldn't stop you using the site, since we don't rely on cookies for anything beyond Squarespace's standard analytics.
Who we share your data with
Squarespace, Inc. hosts this website and processes data on our behalf as part of that service. Squarespace is a US company, so your data may be processed outside the UK. Squarespace has its own safeguards in place for this (you can read about them in Squarespace's privacy notice).
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else for marketing or any other purpose.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions for as long as we need them to respond to your enquiry and follow up on any work that comes from it, then delete them. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we won't hold onto it indefinitely.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask us to:
tell you what data we hold on you
correct anything that's wrong
delete your data
limit how we use it
hand your data over to you in a portable format
To ask any of this, get in touch through our contact form. If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes to this policy
If anything changes about what we collect or how, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
